Privacy & Trust
Last updated: June 2026 — full privacy policy coming soon.
What we collect
Garden collects your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account. Within the app, you provide information about your family — including children's profiles, records, calendar events, and reminders. This information is stored in your account and is not shared with other users or third parties.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your data with advertisers.
- We do not use your family's information to train AI models.
Google Calendar (optional)
If you connect Google Calendar, Garden requests permission to read and write calendar events on your behalf. This connection is optional and can be disconnected at any time from your account settings. Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to sync events you create in Garden.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Account passwords are never stored in plain text. Garden enforces strong password requirements and email verification before granting account access. Security headers including HSTS and Content Security Policy are applied to all pages.
More detail coming soon
A complete privacy policy — covering data retention, deletion requests, sub-processors, and contact information — is being prepared and will be published here before Garden's public launch.
